Nursery and Primary School Project

The school’s programs provide learners with practical skills needed to employ oneself or obtain employment which allow them to support themselves and their families, give back to their communities and participate in the African reconstruction wherever they are. Close to 500 learners have been identified and 200 enrolled at the school.

The school supports potential learners with work scholarships. The fee per child in Nursery and Primary ranges from $15 to $30 per month respectively depending on the program.

Adult Literacy & Education Program

Alongside children education, Destiny is establishing an adult program to benefit the men, women and local leaders.  The Program provides participants in the community with education in basic literacy, business, briquettes making and traditional crafts.

The school provides an opportunity to children to attend school, but has since grown to have a wider impact and is currently used as a base for community empowerment to empower and equip the community as a whole to enable them to bring their children into a brighter future.

The school is also a base for HIV/AIDs awareness and community outreach programs. This is to enhance reduction in the scourge infection and encourage community member to go for Voluntary Counselling and Testing (VCT).  The school’s program require for such equipment to make this a reality as electricity, textbooks, computers and other materials required for providing an effective and relevant education.
